But you never call me out. And must have missed when I said I found praying inneffective to stop drinking except for the dozen or two who white knuckle it.

And you missed where I said modern science has made advances since 1934's AA big book. WHen I went to a doctor who prescribed me Naltrexone (a cheap pill) I broke the habit in abt 10 days, lost the craving and the habit and that was the end of my drinking days. That was close to 5 years ago.

YOU don't see a bit of hypocrisy in yourself judging and judging for years on end. Don't talk to me about intelligence when you can't connect the dots over and over.

I dont write my thoughts abt AA and effective treatment to YOU... your issues are clearly different. If you can't get over yourself, or me, other readers will notice.

Last comment is I dont think AA or AI will get you out of the pickle jar you're in. A good counselor may help you and I think they're all past the shock treatements of a century ago, so I presume it wont hurt. I read they're close to finding treatment for OldTimer's Disease. See your doctor...maybe he'll say it's right for you.
