Force-claiming is not allowed here. This is a peaceful, neutral area meant for socialising.

Ghost’s whisper in my ears.

And they sound so sweet.

“Apologies are useless in the long run.” Nahawi finally says once Thranduil goes quiet. His blue eye blinked faintly before he just shrugged and curled tighter around Aase. His long tail twitches at the base before he lets out a deep sigh. “And be mad if you wish, or don’t if that is what is better for you. No one liked me there and I let a lot of people down. Some I let die because of my actions.” That tid bit was for the daughter he let Garmr murder. The beginning part was mostly for the woman who no longer breathed and laid upon the ground in front of him. He had done so many bad things. All of them out matched whatever good he could have hoped to make.

“If you understand Thranduil, it might be time for you to get out.” Raising a brow then, the red dun watched the other stallion quietly. “There are territories that you could go to. One of them, believe it or not, would protect you more than others if you gave the demon a chance.” Nahawi was guiding Thranduil to the first stallion who had ever stood in the face of Garmr, chose the hard path, and still came out breathing. Lucifer had been a menace, but he had never fully bowed down to Garmr. That much, Nahawi knew after his last run in with the black monster.

Huffing this time around, Nahawi let his warm breath fill the air before he spoke. “There will always be darkness in that place. Its what the Lagoon is.” After he spoke, he coughed again. “No one is going to change it unless they can be more cut throat than the Boss you bowed towards.” Tilting his head, Nahawi laughed with a choked sound. “If you want change there, you gotta find someone more cut throat but stands on the side of good. It's going to take someone with no ties to any mare or land. It's going to take someone that lost everything and knows what it is like.” Rubbing his chin on his mates bones, Nahawi sinks into the white pieces a bit more as his glassy eye starts to turn clouded. His time was coming, but sadly it was in front of a stallion he would never consider a friend and would never wish to be around on his death bed.

“Find a way out Thranduil, or find someone that could make Garmr fall to his knees. If you can do that, then you can see a Lagoon that would do better. I was not that stallion and I never will be. However, there are others out there that have a stronger constitution. They could do what I failed at. If you can do that… then you can apologize and say it to me once you cross the veil. Until then… your words hold no weight for a dying man.”
