Boss's Decree

For every brother you bring into the Lagoon, you may have a trinket of your own. I will not touch, barter, trade, or do anything with them. For every foal you create that lives here in the lagoon, you must win a battle or bring in a new brother.

If neither of these criteria are met, come them turning two and remaining in the lagoon, they are mine to do with as I see fit.

The Offspring

Briseis (Carthage x Clio)
Flynnrir (Garmr x Druna)
Gersemi (Garmr x Dior)
Gothic (Garmr x Dior)
Phaethon (Acid x Sabah)
Sadie (Abraxas x Mercy)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

I wasn’t always a monster.

Rutger
Not until life chose my path.

Forcing himself to stop, Rutger flicked one ear back when he heard someone clear their throat. His long red tinged tail slowly twitched at the base, causing the long strands to sway back and forth before he turned his head just enough to level one eye on Khyber. Something was going to be spoken, that much was certain. However, what Khyber asked wasn't something he had honestly expected just yet.

“My answer isn't one you would particularly like, Khyber.” Rutger began. His one ear twitched till it faced Khyber dead on. The greying hairs in the depths of it could be seen easier thanks to the one beam of sunlight he stood in. With half his face hidden in darkness and his eye and ear exposed via the sun, the stallion looked as if he were peeking through a cracked door.

Licking his pale lips, Rutger thought a touch longer before nodding slightly towards the open area of the Lagoon. “You had a point with the Lagoon being a place where I could find my father better. It brought me back. Simple as that sounds.” An underlying thing was hidden behind that truth however. Parts of him weren't about to be exposed though, especially to Khyber.

“And then Garmr wasn't running for Boss again. Figured why not toss my hat in. Keep tabs a bit better and see more via the position.” ‘And further my own personal gain.’ He thought after speaking, but never once said it. “Now I find Tyr here in the Lagoon and two faced brothers that have grown sloppy but blame me for something. Interesting isn't it?” Raising a brow then, Rutger eyed Khyber. “What about you though? You could have chosen Wechuge over me. Even if he wasn't your cup of tea, he's been a brother longer. So, why, deep down, didn't you choose someone else?”
