In common vernacular, it's one who says to certain others "Do what I say, not what I do (or did.)

Will anyone who claims to never have done that, please raise your hand? Remember, both God and Santa have been watching the whole time!

(Parents, you are not exempt from this question when advising your children about how they should behave, compared to how YOU did!)
