Lucifer
And enter the game he creates.
The moment one started to speak, Lucifer realized a simple error of stepping this close to what the demons inside of him wanted. The one was… very… dimwitted. That was the word Lucifer managed to scrounge up from the depths of his mind. He wanted to chew on the word and spit it out, making it wrong. But the more the stallion spoke, the more Lucifer realized he had chose the wrong one to want in his herd. However, as the woman spoke, the demon named male tilted his head slightly. He took in the darker clad woman, weighing her words silently. He let them ramble for a while, but it was obvious the moment both of them were no longer going to speak. ’Thank god.’ He thought while hiding the internal cringe at the three letter word his mental mouth spit.
In regards to the first bit, Lucifer manages to let out a faint smile. “Usually, no.” Came his reply. He let his words settle for a moment before his shoulders slightly rocked. One comment from the stallion now named Jester had Lucifer holding back a twisted smile. They had no souls to trade? Lucifer was staring at two shiny ones, ones that he could take home. They would fight him of course, if he did this wrongly. He could almost feel teeth snapping at his black fur, which made his mind tingle in the most delicious way. He wanted the pain. He wanted to take it, to use it, and most of all… turn it into pleasure.
Forcing himself to hide the mental tangent, the stallion grounded himself once more. As the grass softly twisted against his knees and the pale glow of the moon brightened enough ahead of him for his eyes to gain purchase, he sized up both equines. It was a quicker glance than he would usually use, but it told him enough. They were lost, stranded, and totally brand new to the islands. He had once been in their shoes… but he also had the backing of the Lagoon at the start to protect him. Out of all the islands… Salem had the most horse power in the current moment. Having taken down the once was Queen Nyimara… Lucifer knew he could do it again to protect those he brought home. It made something sick inside of him preen with pride and snap its jaws. It made the voices hum their agreement. Inside of his mind, Lucifer was being bombarded by things he never let show on his face.
“Souls are not… a trade I am interested in.” That was a fat lie, but Lucifer said it with a straight face. He would gladly take their souls and anyone else's if they were to offer it to him. Teagan in her own right had, and so had his sons. Rieva, Wytche… They all had in their own ways, even if it had never once been confirmed in that way. Lucifer went through hell for Teagan, and had been missing Rieva… He even missed the twisted life that was Wytche. All of his herd had given him something no one else had really ever sought after. It made it all the more beautiful that he had two in front of him that had no idea the deal they would be signing if they accepted. Best part, it always ended in their blood, one way or another.
“I have a territory you can regain your footing on.” Tilting his head at this, the demon barely concealed the twinkle in his eye. “The only thing you'd have to offer in exchange is to stay there until you're ready to leave. If you manage to want to stay… that would make everything all the better.” God, he could taste the non-existent drool in his mouth. He still had a horse to find out there, but Mhidas would have to wait. Lucifer had two new slices of perfect pie right in front of him and boy oh boy…
Did he want to FEAST.
