And Bravery Cries;

Bravery was the soul.
So my song reaches your heart.

“Sister… We should not do this.” Flicking her ears back, Tefnut hides the tears tracking down her cheeks as Aadrika speaks. This was the best for her sister of course, but the red dun woman could not hide the agony that coursed through her blood. It was worse, for as she cried, Lucifer stepped closer and kept his side against hers. She might never have met her birth father, but the woman knew she was forced to see the remnants of himself that he left in all of his children. It started with her and how she looked like him, but as she turned her head back and looked behind her, she knew it was in all of them as well.

Shifting his hooves, the only son not to have some form of resemblance to his father sighed. Bidziil, for all intents and purposes, should have already left the islands. Instead, the tri-colored stallion had stayed. He did not know why, but now as he looked ahead and saw the carbon copy of Nahawi in two horses, he knew. Slowly stepping closer, the tobiano male gave a soft sound before stepping beside Tefnut and Lucifer. Dipping his head to the older stallion, Bidziil turned his head back and softly nodded to the others behind him.

She hated her grandfather, but still Canine came. Nudging her daughter forward, Canine and Mimic got closer to their relatives before moving at a steady pace once more. The red roan grandchild and the pale great grandchild had the farthest ties from Nahawi, but the summons had still reached them. Watching though, Canine knew what this was. It made her heart ache knowing what she was doing, but it was for the better. With her darkness and lack of control, the only thing she half ass cared about would be safer. So, with a gentle nudge, Canine moved Mimic closer to Tefnut and Lucifer before stepping out a ways, leaving distance between them.

Alo, for what it was worth, hung back with his head low. His ears were laid back in pain due to the inner turmoil. Closing his eyes tight, the stallion that never got to meet his father let the tears fall. He was not alone though, for the steady presence of Aadrika kept close to him. They might not know each other well, but they were full siblings. It caused him to turn his head, hiding it against his sister's chest once they reached the beach, full body sobs shaking his frame. He did not want to be here, nor did he want to go.

Seeing the tears of his half sibling, Vir stepped up before lowering his head and lipping at the yearlings mane. His pale eyes and chromed out frame were kind as he looked at Aadrika, his head dipping slowly. “It will be okay.” He whispered, knowing this was going to be the downfall of everyone here. The family would be leaving while others stayed. It had come to this after seasons of hard work by Lucifer to reach them all. It was not false that the black male had been working the islands… but no one would realize just what kind of work the “demon” was doing.
