It is not often that Caine spends time in the Lagoon. He does not wear their scent nor partake in their politics. The stallion speaks their name only to keep himself from being claimed like some wayward mare as he wanders from territory to territory. But on this rare sighting among his brothers, Caine only watches them, though there is not much to watch. The Lagoon is stagnant, though he isn’t sure why.


Bored, the white capped stallion wanders away. Though the murky waters and swampy vegetation until he nears the border that would take him to the shared territories to state his wanderlust between the Falls and Meadows. Perhaps to meet another interesting character? Though he doubts much could bring him any sort of entertainment with the mood he’d been in.


Before he can fully reach the border, a sweet scent that did not belong infiltrated his nose. Alarm made his heart leap in his chest, and Caine picked up a trot. Not wanting to draw too much attention with his hurried stride, it was the only thing that kept him from running.


“Harmonie….” He hissed as he drew closer, his white ears pinned as anger swirled with the fear. Why had she come back? It was clear he could not protect her when the Boss had so easily sent her away. “Why….” He began to demand as he pulled up in front of her, when his green eyes landed on the colt pressed against her side. If the world could freeze, it briefly did for Caine. Finally, he blinked away his shock to look at Harmonie again. “We can’t stay here. They will keep him.” He said, tossing his head for her to turn back. He would follow, and they could talk once they were safe outside the Lagoon.
