Siege looked back to see who all had followed him, Ume, Oki and Samikle were all following behind and what was even more humorous was to see Ume mimicking him. It was cute, when he found a good scent he would make sure that all of them got a good sniff of it so that they knew what to look for from now on. Sure they had the smells of kills that their father brought home, but it was always a lot more faint and easy to miss when it was on a wet ground like today. The blue, white and black brute continued forward occasionally looking back to see what the pups were doing, but predominantly his nose was on the ground searching for any scent, rabbit, deer, anything to get the kids started on. It was funny to see the two boys looking around trying to spot something occasionally sniffing the ground in an attempt to catch a scent but still it was Siege who prevailed a short time later and a good distance away from where they had started.

�Smell right here Ume, Oki, Sam.� The brute commanded putting his paw right in front of the spot where he finally had found a fresher deer trail. At least it was something he could feed the family on, if he found rabbits it would have to be a rather sizable brace to sate all their appetites. He watched as Oki and Sam scurried up to get the scent, shoving one another out of the way in a flurry of dark and light colored fur but Oki getting the better of his brother. It was pretty good considering it was, well them. Oki gave a firm nod and trotted away leaving Sam to get the scent last, not that it really mattered. �It� s deer. Not sure how many yet, usually it will combine with others if we follow it long enough.� The brute said then looked around for Alli. He wouldn�t howl for her, he just hoped she was within ear shot or maybe would find a deer trail as well that would meet up with the one he had found so that they could run into each other again. He knew she would be fine, Palladium was close too, so surely nothing to horrible could happen.

Kai stuck close to their mother looking at Hayabusa who looked eager to get going. That was rather strange, she didn�t think she ever seen him look so eager before. �This is fun isn�t it, Hay?� She said happily tail wagging in the air as she followed her mostly black pelted mother. She couldn�t wait until she actually got to chase something down! It sounded so thrilling!
