During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

As the obsidian demonness continued to circle me, I realised the alpha's time limit was coming to an end- and there was no way she would appear in time to defend her domain in time. A grin broke out across my scarred muzzle, it twisting with the pink line that ran from under my left eye and down to the point where it crossed from my top lip to the bottom, something more grotesquely handsome at the particular moment rather than terrifying. I see, you're a fight and run type, right? There was a teasing tone to the gal's lyrics, but there was a sense of caution and tensed way to the other half-which I couldn't blame her for. Hell, here I was at the borders awaiting to claim these borders as my own, and she still owed her loyalty to the bitch who ran the place. Seems a change was brewing in the air, as though it were an approaching storm with the purple tinted clouds masking the moon as it settled slowly. The ess was awaiting a reply, and I knew the silence I was treating her with was pushing her to the edge, and yet she remained calm and patient. Seems she has had years of practice her patience, such as I had. The grin that was spread across the girl's maw showed no sign of fear, nor did she look disturbed by my ruthless scar, as though she has seen her fair share of horrible scenes and this one was nothing to be comapred to. Points for the demoness on her account.

"Running from a fight? Never."

The words were scoffed, along with a sort of snort in humor. There wasn't hesitation as I let my own chocolate orbs meet hers, and I cocked an eyebrow in her daring attempts. I could tell she cared not that her next words seeped with her assessment, but there was something covering the truth. Her opinions were locked away. Enough said. I guess I wouldn't see them until the correct time. As of now, time collided with destiny; leaving me with an acceptance into the land. Pushing my haunches off the terra firma, I stretched my muscular legs and relieved them of the tension that had built, letting it seep into the earth and drift away. No turning back now; this was my land. No anyone else's. Chocolate luminaries sparkling with a new emotion, I took the step across the borders and into the new domain. Hard to believe that this lovely piece of artwork was truelly mine, and I barely had to do any work to succeed it. After my short moment of glory, I snapped back into reality, refusing to let the fatale's words go unnoticed in my ears. With only a slight glance behind me, I met her gaze, ignoring the fact that she had moved herself closer. Tricky and dangerous.

"It seems you have no choice whether you approve of me or not. You better be ready to drop to the ground, angel, because I suspect I will be seeing you at the pack meeting. I expect much from you."

With the strong words lingering in the atmosphere, I found the corners of my lips twitching up in a humorous and amusing reaction. From there, I took my leave, departing with a silent chuckle as I let my frame shift through the shadows, the lithe figures dancing about the area due to the new light that as invading the morning sky. Muave colors tinted with golden specks displayed itself in a form of glory, seeming to congradgulate me on my position. Exploring the territory, I remarked the stale domination lines, scraping my sharp talons against trees and much more. There was much to be done this morning, and I was more than excited to get this pack meeting on the road. Grasping onto the concept of being alpha, I breathed in the homely scent of danger and mystery, death and life. Not quite a difference between my own life and the new if I must say. Continueing along the borderline, I finished off my final touches, the dominating scent thick enough to cause one's nose to wrinkle-a brick wall strong enough to hold off any idiotic vargs who wished to cross the border. Subconciously, I found my thoughts wandering to the former alpha.

A no show. What a shame, I was really looking forward to a fight this morning. I had been looking forward to the blood lust as my fangs seeped into the flesh of my prey, but I guess that would be held off until the next pack hunt, which in fact will not be soon. I would rather start off our new alliance with a meet and greet, if you know what I am saying. Personally, I would like to know what I was dealing with before setting off to see who was worthy to be on my favoritism list. Guess that would have to wait until next time, sorry to dissapoint my fellow wanna-be's. Pushing myself off into a steady lope, I headed in the direction of the clearing that I had seeked out and claimed to be the first area that I would greet in. There was a slight breathing problem due to the lack of air that entered my lungs, but it evened out when I came to a halt, brown eyes glancing around proudly before I lifted my tri-colored crown into the air. Parting my jowls, I let forward my beautiful song, this time refusing to hold back the power and dominance that pressed through the depths and into the open. It echoed throughout the land, far enough for any that were wishing to join could hear, and would come to my command in assumption that they were sticking to their wishful ways.

It rang out without hesitation for a good amount of time, but the mesmorizing tone finally subsided as my jowls clamped back together and I sucked in a deep breath to regain my balance. Lowering my head to a normal position, I wondered just what kind of remark the onyx vixetta would have to say when she arrived to take her place in my borders. A low chuckle escaped my maw, more pleasant to the ear rather than the growl that rang out earlier, and as I glanced throughout the shadows in the trees, I wondered where everyone was going to be coming from. I had complete and utter most belief that many would accompany me in this meeting, but the question was: who was to be the first soul to appear at my doorstep?
