At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

Out for a stroll. Yeah, that was it. Or was it? Cade wasn't really sure why she had felt the need to get out of the pack territory. It wasn't like she hung out there all that often anyhow. Maybe she was just getting better at avoiding her family, They were psychopaths and sadly, she was feeling a little left out. It had been quite a while since she had laid her mismatched pair of eyes on her brother Quirino. Oddly enough, she missed spitting venemous words at him. It wasn't like they really meant anything in the long, just sibling rivalry and all. It was about ehr only weapon against him now-a-days andyway since they had both grown measurably into that stage most would call teenage and hormonal. Perhaps that was why she was having so much fun disappearing for long spans of time. She was running the risk of having her mother's wrath rained down upon her, but something in the princess just couldn't be convinced to care.

And so here she was, walking along and not particularly drawn to one place. The young lady had come to see the falls many time before and didn't really expect anything to be new or different from the last twenty times she had been there. What a shock it was for hear to screaming and end up with a front row seat to the...well, she didn't know what it was. Peeking through a bush down wind from the pair of wolves, her gaze focused on a larger male who was quite easily overpowering a female and...biting her? Cade blinked a few times to make sure she wasn't seeing things. Certainty sunk in when the wolf dropped the lifeless corpse and waded into the water, dispersing the bloody stains on his coat in the water and bobbing his eyes and nose in a way that made her think of a crocodile.

Predator. Everything about the scene she had just witnessed made her mind scream that he was deadly and not to be trifled with. And yet, Satanican blood flowing through her veins compelled her to step out from her hiding spot. Standing in the wide open, white coat rather obvious amongst all of the green foilage and her toes and neck looking as if they were garnished in blood, the leggy lass held a very interested look upon her facade. Oh yes, mother would be very entertained if she could convince this male to take a walk with her back to Andere. Her left brow raised, the one where the crimson spilled in a little curve over her eye unlike her right side, she offered him a bit of a grin before words spilled out.

"You seem rather....professional."

It was an observation, one she figured might be correct since he had appeared calm and collected both during and after robbing the female whose souless body was still lying a few feet away. The only thing she considered other than how he might be useful was the caution with which she had to play her cards. Seline wouldn't be pleased nor amused, well maybe just a little, if her daughter ended up dessert for a stranger.
