Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

Warrior walked about his new home. He had wandered about, remembering what each place from the tour that the first wolf he had met in Bright Moon told him about. Warrior squeezed out of the trees, ruffling his fur. Although normally he liked the cool shade and the twisted paths of the forest, for some reason he felt the coolness to be icy, and it nudged uncomfortably on not-so-stellar memories. The grassy meadow, that Venga had called the prairie, he remembered, was bright, and he found, to his surprise, that as he walked out into the field the warm sun on his fur was welcome, rather than oppressive as he had thought the other times when sunny days made him grimace because of his dark fur coloring. He lay down, the tall grass cushioning beneath him, and sighed, closing his eyes. The temperature was perfect, the cool breeze taming the heat of the sun. Warrior felt peaceful, and that he very well could sleep here.

And then a call reached his ears, which he twitched, before getting up himself and stretching the sleep from his muscles. That was the call of his leader, one which he obeyed without hesitation. It was a nice day, and he oughtn’t have thought to waste it on sleeping. He chastised himself silently before starting to go to the thick forest in the north, pushing his way through the greenery until he made it to the clearing that was held for pack meetings.

Warrior was glad for a chance to greet his leader for the first time. He had been introduced into this pack by the Gamma, and so had not met Tamlin yet. He was sure that the Alpha would be interested in knowing all of the members of his pack, and for a brief moment uncertainty crossed his mind. Was he really a member if the Alpha hadn’t accepted him? He quickly shook the thought, though. He trusted Venga not to mislead him intentionally, and Venga was part of Bright Moon long enough to know its laws and traditions, being a Gamma. Since she told him that he was now part of Bright Moon, then he probably was.

The teen trotted across an open clearing that was not the one where old smells of wolves thickly permeated the area. This was just a random clearing, and not very big, and he cut right across it to start going through the overgrown forest again. He smiled as he weaved around the branches and ducking large roots. He didn’t doubt when Venga had told him that this was her favorite part of Bright Moon. He had felt that it was his as well, although today something in him lingered more for open skies and the sun. Soon the wolf pushed his way into the large clearing, but then he lingered inconspicuously near the edge where he emerged. Warrior saw the snow white wolf, who must have been the Alpha by his posture, almost at the opposite end, and that a couple wolves were already here, including a female with shame on her face, and a cheerful young male who did not hesitate to include himself. Warrior hung back in the shadows because he was not in a hurry to put himself in a limelight, and before he was noticed, he wanted to see what would become of the female. Some wolves acted differently when someone else was present. He didn’t know what she did that she acted so nervously apologetic, but he did want to know how Tamlin dealt with her. Warrior wanted to know how justice was given in this new place.
