Talia nodded at his words. With her pups so young, she hadn't ventured too far. The mountains and steep cliffs were no place for her pups. The fear of losing them was too much for her to even consider taking them there.
"I've never been to the cliffs before. I've heard the view is beautiful." She said, a little wistfully. Sometime soon she'd discover it for herself.
Her gaze kept being drawn to the brute in front of her, with his sleek fiery coat. Considering all the domineering brutes she had known in her life, he was probably the nicest. She tried not to think of the others, the ones who had tried to show her her place. She hadn't let them break her, but they had come close.
Talia caught a scent on the gentle breeze and inhaled. Another brute was close by. His scent was somehow familiar, though Talia couldn't puzzle it out right then. She turned to Blaze, then looked around.
"I think someone else was looking for a drink." She said casually, finally catching sight of a dark-colored brute.
The part of her that was constantly on her guard noted that she was now outnumbered. She wasn't too bothered. It wasn't like either of the brutes acted aggressive.
"Hello." She said to the newcomer, her hazel eyes studying him. Blaze had tensed and this new wolf looked cautious. She glanced between the two, just a little confused.
