During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Aindreas's ears swiveled as he listened to the fae speak his name. As hard as it had been for him to remember his own name, it was even harder to remember the last time someone had used it to address him. And the way this fae spoke his name... it shook him to his very soul. Perhaps it was partially because of how long it had been since he had heard his own name. Or how long it had been since he had spoken with another wolf. Or maybe... maybe it was something else. His blue orbs stole another glance at the fae, her beauty striking him again. She was young, but looked to be right on the cusp, between the teen years and adulthood. Perhaps he could get close to her...trust her... perhaps they could...

He snapped back to the present as she continued to talk. She asked him if he was going to be a knight here, and then made a comment about a wolf called 'Serryberry'. After a few moments, she had smiled and had told him not to be afraid. Her last comment, however, was lost on him as he got caught up in the smile that she had thrown his way. His orbs quickly dropped to the ground once more and he chastised himself for forgetting his manners. He had clearly been solitary for far too long.

He coughed, and then opened his maw to speak again, his rough husky voice coming forth. "Excuse me...Miss Kobato," he paused to swallow in attempt to soothe his rough vocals, but to no prevail. "A knight, you said? Do you mean a warrior, or a fighter, for the terra? And... what is a 'Serryberry' " The name almost made him chuckle as he said it, catching him off guard. Laughing was not something that he knew nor remembered. He wondered in silent amazement how this fae had opened up so many memories and emotions within him within only a few moments of acquaintanceship. His blue orbs once more traveled up to meet hers, and the smallest of smiles crept upon his maw.
