Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

She was fast on her paws; bouncing, leaping, ducking and weaving from shadow to shadow. She had been searching for something - for her brother specifically - but also for the beach that had once existed. Litherum was what they had called it but she had always known it as her home - her birth place. She remembered Soldat and Chasca and even Desoto - she remembered her beloved siblings; Alyeska, Vulcan, Kavik and Iskra. Mother had sacrificed herself for her mate and d'Mani's father - Faol'an - along with Tornaq, Alyeska, Iskra and even Vulcan she would be lead to believe. Grim and Kavik? They had made it out. They were safe and though at times she still ached all over from the loss of so much, she still held hope.

Somewhere out there was a beach that stretched on and on - a beach where she could find the bird's eggs for her absent brother and feathers for her missing mother.

For now, though, she had taken her attention elsewhere - a gathering had begun to form and with fluid grace, she had moved down the hillside. Like a sore thumb, she stuck out - her pelt was pristine white, thick and fluffy as if she were still a puppy with a strange silver brindling across her flanks. She had always been small, dainty and fragile in appearance with small, petite features and a permanent puppy-like appearance about her; it had served useful in her two years of wandering. Would it work now?

Slowly she began to approach the large gathering, tucking her body in to appear even more dainty as her fox-like tail tucked in close beneath her. Ears flattened back across her skull, head lowered and eyes wide with helplessness; a shameless beggar. She could hunt - and well at that seeing as her body was utterly for speed and agility - and yet why would she if she could use her young, feminine whiles to gain a free meal or at least a warm den for the night?

When you did not have the muscle mass to push others around, you had to make do with other methods.
