Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

He doesn't even seem to notice my approach, so engrossed is he in watching the victim of his little charade look around in frustrated silence for his invisible attacker. This mystery wolf seems so amused by his antics, his eyes dancing wtih laughter and I find myself more intrigued to find out what this wolf is to someone like me. Would he be an enemy or perhaps a strange ally? I feel you can never have too many in times like these when everyone seems to have a target on their back...or in this case, head. The wolf is so proud of himself as he watches, nothing in his eyes to give away the fact that he knows he is being watched himself. He doesn't jump or startle his hackles up at the sound of a voice which makes me think he's either very confident of himself or he's not looking for a fight. Interesting. I raise a brow in question as he chuckles before answering, asking if I was related to the wolf. I shake my head, mildly amused, my head tilting as my eyes dance with humor.

No relation of mine or I would be slightly less amused. I murmur the words though they hold the shadow of a threat. If he were to threaten any of my family, no matter whether it be in a joking manner or not, I would certainly not be so welcoming. He grows thoughtful for a moment but its a good thing that I'm patient so I wait for him to come back to the here and now, ears flickering around alertly in case we get company. He seems to realize something after a moment or so, his eyes widening a tad in some kind of euphoria. I take a moment to inhale his cologne and when I do, a single ear drops back in sudden intrigue. He smells of Iromar. Is he a pack wolf or was he just visiting? They don't seem like the greatest vacation spot for a visit if you ask me. All that fog. The wolf tells me his name is Amissus Anima. It's a strange name but then so is Devil May Cry so I don't have room to talk. He tells me that he's new. My lips quirk up in a crooked smirk.

And yet I see you're already friendly with the locals. I am Devil May Cry, not so new to these lands. My eyes bore into his, wanting information but not sure how to go about taking it. I'm sure he won't talk so willingly of his new pack, especially if they've already warned him of Diveen wolves. I'm not sure what they have against them, really, but whatever the reason, it must be convincing enough to turn the pack against us, though I've seen mostly a bunch of black and red wolves running the place and I don't remember any of them from Old Moladian. They must be new blood. Trying to make a name for themselves? I guess that would be convincing enough of a motive to try to take out all the Diveen wolves. They say they're against the Angels but I hardly call myself an Angel. I'm the Devil and I'm much worse.
