At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

The days seemed to be slowing now; a change from the blur that the last six months had been. No longer was she insecure and alone, though she was not fully healed. Still, no one saw through her mask, and Blaze was quite clear in her mannerisms that it would be kept that way. The past was gone, and would never return. Still, sometimes long buried emotions surged to the surface, filling the femme with flashes of uncertainty, fear, anger, pain and paranoia. So far, no one she had met yet had brought this out in her, and Blaze was grateful for the security. She didn't want everyone to view her as a psychopath, which was what would surely happen if they all realized how hurt she had been.

For now, the ess concentrated on her breathing. In. Out. In. Out. Repeatedly. With all the new faces and obligations, the Bright Moon warrior was feeling the familiar tug of her social anxiety returning; not good. She needed this time, to recover, away from the eyes of those who either thought to take upon her burden or worsen it. Either way, she didn't want any pity. She'd rather have everyone furious at her than that.

Electric blue hue's pierced the surrounding area; it sure was beautiful. The steady thrum of the falling waters eased her own heartbeat back into time, the crisp area helping in the fight to clear her head. Her ebony pelt was now misted over lightly with spray from the Falls, however it had scoured the mud from her white stockings, and for that she was grateful. The area was altogether a sight to behold, and as aforementioned, calmed her considerably.

Now the femme's thoughts turned to a familiar male; Seoras. He was always around, whether the girl was aware for it or not, and she had seen him once more recently. Still, he was always there, pulling away a her heart and mind. Yet, still the stubborn fae refused to admit that she may have had a little crush, nor that the feeling may be returned.

She sighed, her head hanging low. Why couldn't she return to her adolescent years, not long passed? She hated having to deal with all of this, alone too. It left her with a sour taste in her mouth, and a throbbing in her head. If she wasn't careful she was going to end up a bitter and cold wolf, her insides scooped out by her silence and fermenting. Still, she sat upon a higher up ledge, lost in thought and generally unaware of her surroundings.
