Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Watch Me Come Undone Cobryn

I wince with every step, dragging my favored piece of meat with me. I came back with the rest of the pack but I let the main players in the hunt get what they wanted before I took my slice. As hierarchy goes, I should have been right behind the alphas but Weylin had a different set of rules so I went along with them. Not like I could really think about food right now with the pain jolting through my spine with every step. I couldn't believe it when I felt something heavy and wet slam down on my tail, a wave of nausea and pain rippling up my back bone as I yelped in pitiful distress. I turned back to the hunt even as every step almost sent another shiver of pain down my back. It took every fiber of will in my being to jump back into the fray and get a few more bites in but luckily the others had continued rallying and before I knew it, the giant creature was on the sand, unmoving. His face and head were a mess from someone's jaws but as the adrenaline started to drain from my body, all I could think about was my tail. When I got a chance to glance back, I could make the bloody punctures and the way it crooked a little to the left right behind the bite mark. That bastard! I waited for the others to grab their meat before I took mine and slowly wandered off, wanting peace to clean my tail. I glance back behind me, wondering where Cobryn is and wanting to make sure that he didn't get hurt, too. Finding a quiet little spot under a tree, I let the slippery meat drop from my teeth before I collapse slowly into the sand, pulling my tail to me with a quiet whimper. My tongue moves over the fur gently, careful around the crooked part because it's already starting to swell. Great, a broken tail. That should add to my looks.
