Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Annoyance had began to brim in the young femme's eyes, her tail flicking against the ground she sat and her fur along her shoulders beginning to bristle. Damn Dib and her questions about family. Damn her for having her own family. Damn her for being so freaking happy. Damn her for being so calm. Damn her for unnerving the Abentrot assassin so. Damn her way of prying open people's secrets. It took all the control she had to keep all paws planted firmly on the ground, and her teeth still hidden. How had she allowed this to happen.

Interesting? If you found overly pushy and naive and bias and under-informed and...argh! Her ear flicked once. She was not going to let the Saw Tooth teen win by sending her into a unintelligible rage. Aerten was not going to sink to that level, now or ever.

Taking deep breaths, completely unconcerned with what the other ess thought of her right now she managed to say,

"Well, congratulations on being unique. You'd be one of the first wolves I've met who is so."

And that was the truth. Many were generally your generic killer, mother, loyal pack member, etc. Dib actually seemed to have her own little set of morales, and a rather different personality. Yes, there were still dashes of the generics in there, but for the most part she was original, and trait the femme couldn't help but admire, yet envy.

With one last shuddering deep breath, she raised her gaze back to the younger russet ess's once more. Here she was bitching about her life, when she had a pack and a decent life. Dib at least, had a permanently injured leg; what did she have to complain about? Nothing. Nothing at all.

"I apologize for my behaviour before Dib. It was uncalled for."

The words were rather stiff, with an undercurrent of actual remorse. It was never actually her intention to alienate the teen, yet she seemed to have done a good job so far. Sighing, she continued,

"Family is a...touchy topic for me. However it's good that you have such roots in your own pack."

She spoke more softly, attempting to be more friendly, and probably failing miserably. Still, it was better than having the teen forever remembering her as the psychotic Abentrot warrior. Who knows? She might actually need Dib sometime in the future.
