The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Her breathing quickened when the demon leaned forward, his musk predominant in her delicate nares. He inches forward, stopping when there is but a small space between the two. Her golden orbs quivered dangerously, uncertainty flying through their colors, and she drew her head back away from him, preparing for the worst. What was he going to say with that smart mouth of his? Was he to laugh at her? Her pale fur shook as she reached her limit of neck flexibility. Was he to condemn her with peals of laughter, which she had, presumably frightened him with? He was going to return them! She knew so… didn’t she? He opened his maw, revealing sharp little jagged pieces of bone. NO! She didn’t want to hear him! She could just leave now! Her eyes shut tightly. Maybe she could be somewhere else. Yes, that’s it. She was back where she should have stayed, in a golden wood laden with all sorts of rocks and ferns… His words shattered the mental Paradise right away. No...it's you. It's been you since the first day I saw you on that hill top overlooking the coyote massacre. It's always been you. She stopped breathing.

He—that far back? She had to admit, it wasn’t love at first sight for her. No, she had not taken quite a liking to him. Sure, he had been attractive but Kohaku had known that there were plenty of males that she had never seen the ivories of. That she had never been blessed to hear the voices of. Nikandros was but a foolish prince, and he always would be. And she was not a foolish lass. Therefore, she had not paid him much attention, finding him merely as an annoyance that turned into something she looked forward to. That change right there was what made her foolish, as she did not recognize it nor make a move to stop it. Hypocrisy at its finest. She swallowed visibly and opened her eyes again, wanting to put them on the ground… but Kohaku was far too proud for such actions. So she met his gaze straight on, a train hurtling right into another one on the same fated track. Is it rude for her to think what she is thinking? Not necessarily. Liar, she thought, liar. He had the perfume of other females on him at all times—it had gotten hard to decipher his own cologne from the cloak of scents he wore on him. She didn’t trust him then, why should she trust his words now? Why hadn’t he told her? Why hadn’t he tried harder to show that he was feeling that way if… But she knew it was her fault as well. Kohaku knew she pushed everyone away. All those other males she met—she walked away from them. They could not hold her attention or keep up with her thinking… they didn’t even try. Nikandros at least made efforts to understand her reasoning.

Her audettes flicked to her dial and she resisted the urge to shiver when a draft of cold air signified the coming of night. She turned her head, not breaking eye contact with him until it hurt her oracles to stay fixated on him… and then she looked behind her. The world outside was beckoning to her once more. Calling to her for comfort from the turmoil she was going through at this time. Internal conflicts, and external conflicts. There was no one else she would rather be with, but there was no one else she’d rather see eat his own crap. Although she had been the one to confess (of which she was confused now as to why she even did such a silly thing in the first place)… she doubted that her feelings were the same as the prince’s. She did not turn back to look at him as she spoke. She blinked and kept staring behind her.

I doubt your words... she whispered, wanting to bit her lip and just take his words as truth. Avaricious. Tell me then. Selfish. Tell me now. Covetous! She turned her head now, looking him straight in the eye. Tell me that you love me. Selfish, selfish, selfish girl! It is not for Nikandros that she wishes this to sink in. Though that would be a great lesson indeed… but for the greedy female who dares not to believe that which she hears from the players mouth. He must say them with extreme seriousness, unshaking eyes, a brave look, a steady heart and no stutters… else the doe finally will return back to the darkness that now envelopes the forest. And she will, most likely, not return to Malignant again… as there is nothing there for her to find worth in if this one cannot utter a truth.
ooc: why shankyou <3 kohakus a selfish lil bastriss (yes. Female bastard. Boom) underneath o-o sorry she came out like a bitch. But she dun’ take shit. ;) She’s worried that her Niko-kun dun’ like her like she likes him.
