Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

They were caught in a tango neither of them seemed to want to cease. While their body posture and language might have seemed relaxed and at ease, their expressions as well as violet and lavender irises spoke eons to one another. At least, in the case of Sen, his did. And then her own eyes gaze way to her inner enjoyment. A glimpse to that the lady was, infact, enjoying herself as well. This brought a rather handsome smile to his pale lips, stretching taunt across his pale muzzle with it's even more pale markings. And the return smile she gave him- it was enough to set his heart racing and his own smile to broaden a tenfold. And of all things, she accepted his invitation to dine with him. This was the highlight of his week, if not year.

And before he knew it, violet eyes and a russet frame were drawn close, but not close enough. Sen urged to shift his pale frame closer to hers, but he knew they had only just met, and he did not quite want to scare her away so early. And she seemed to tease him in the act of keeping her distance, in tantalizing him and making him want more. A smirk then plastered its way across his jaw; he was enjoying this beautiful, unknown lady more and more by the second. And when she spoke to him, she returned each and every of his playful notions, which brought a wag or two of amusement and enjoyment to his thick, creme-white tail. Relaxed as he was, he brought said tail to wrap snuggly around his paws, watching the stranger all the while that she was beside him, and with even greater interest when she ducked to tear a piece of the succulent meat for herself. A lady who could eat. Sen liked that.

And then she asked him his name. Knight gallant, she had called him. He could get use to that. "I would be Sen, my dearest lady." As for her second question, he took his time in answering. What could he tell her? What would he tell her? What was there even to tell? A dream washed with red, with voices, screams, whispers. Waking up in a sea of crimson, then knowing nothing- only to wake up here, near this very spot. Sen had not ventured far from where he had first woken up. He still didn't know where he was, but perhaps this lovely lady would know. After all, she was the first soul he had spoken to, had interacted to since his arrival. "I come from a place I don't know how far. A place that no longer exists, a place bathed in red." He'd already said too much than he'd meant to, and he cut himself short. While he was speaking, his expression had fallen, his irises had dulled to their usual look. He was silent in that moment, his gaze having fallen off of the lady and to the ground without him noticing.

And just like that, the moment was over, his violet gaze honed back on her lavender one, and the light shining bright within once again. In an attempt to smoothe over the odd moment that had just happened, and in hopes to distract her- but probably more so distract himself, he inquired to her with his own tilt of his skull. "And to what do I call such a lovely goddess as yourself? And where do you hail from? Your home? Mate? Children?" While most would have cherished the time to talk about themselves, Sen did not. For he did not know where to begin, how to begin, what to begin with. His past was jumbled, mixed up, messed up, dark, and most of all- unknown. Longer periods of time than he had liked were blank to him. He did not know what had happened, how it had happened. All he had known was death, and death still seemed to trail after him. But before him was a pretty lady he wanted to know, wanted to spend some time with. And so he allowed her to fill his head, whoever she was, this lovely red-headed lavender eyed goddess. Perhaps she would save him, if not for the time being.
