Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Dib

A small dose of sympathy seeped through the hard exterior of Aerten, her words becoming softer than usual. Dib turned her gaze onto the other’s face as the words entered her auds. ’I'm sorry. That was personal.’ The teen shook her head gently. Yes, the question was personal but Dib chose to answer it. She could have dismissed the question or come up with some lame excuse, but she chose not to. In a weird way Dib was starting to feel more comfortable around the older ess and although the question did hurt she didn’t totally mind answering it. ”There is no need to be sorry Aerten.” She smiled gently.

The next question seemed to cause a slight hesitation with the girl’s answer. It was clear that she was taking her time to think about how to answer it but after a short while, her words were released once again. ’I'd heard rumours, I was never, ever going to function well in a normal pack. Ever. Abentrot was my best option at surviving.’ The teen pondered the answer for a moment; the words sparking up yet more interest and curiosity. How could someone think that they wouldn’t survive in a family-like pack? How could any wolf think that a life time of living like an army would be the best chance of survival and happiness? It baffled the girl to no end but rather than prying more she would let it lie... For now anyway.

‘I have. Though, I admit it'd be easier to start your own pack. That way, you'd choose who you let in and who formed your ranks, instead of being passed on a unknown set of wolves.’ Dib smiled excitedly at the words. She had never really discussed her dreams with anyone at home. Although she loved her mother dearly; Cai would freak if she found out half the things her daughter got up too. She was always trying to protect her and could sometimes become a little too over protective. ’Which option would interest you more?’ Dib paused for a moment before opening her maw to speak. ”I agree with you to be honest. Not only would you have the challenge of finding the perfect area to start a pack, but you would have to fend off others to protect you’re territory. And then you would have to round wolves up to join your ranks and you and only you would be in charge of deciding the fate of your pack. You could make it into anything you would like. Mine would probably be like Saw Tooth, though slightly more adventurous and outgoing.” Realising she had been waffling, the teen bit her tongue slightly. Clearly she had thought about this topic quite a lot and had much to say on the matter.

It was true. Dib would wander away from Saw Tooth on many occasions, finding a quiet spot to rest and think about her latest adventures. She would also take the time to plan future expeditions and starting her own pack had fluttered through many a time. It was a challenge that would provide much excitement and something that would no doubt fuel her adventurous nature for a while.
