Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I lay curled up around my son Ravenwing waiting for my mate and father of this pup to come collect us and take us to Glorall. This pack would be our new home. Apparently it meant something to Silver and I didn't protest when he went off to fight the alpha of that pack. Though a couple days earlier he had returned and told my son and I that he won but we should stay here for a couple more days till he comes to get us. But its been almost five days and I am starting to worry. Silver has not yet returned and I don't want to travel to Glorall with out Ravenwing. During the days I have been waiting I would take our son out and show him different things and tell what kind of prey to eat. The sun is beginning to rise on the sixth day and no sign of my mate. That's it! I stood up and grabbed a hold of my pup by the back of his next and go to Glorall to have a word with the new king.

My son and I exited from Spirane and began our journey towards the shorey sea pack. Ravenwing was beginning to stir amd would ask frequent questions. A few of them I tried to answer the bestt I could but some were answered with complete silence. We made a stop under an old oak to rest and eat. I caught a fat rabbit while ravenwing attempted to get a mouse. I praised him on his attempted but he looked up with a bit of sadness in his face.

"Come on son we still have quite a ways to go before we reach our new home."

This time I allowed him to walk on his own. He was fine. Well almost fine. He would trip over log rocks and logs but always got the strength to stand back up. The sun was just above us when I finally saw two forms up ahead. Ears of black flicked forward as we neared the two. The smaller one seemed frightened but the other wolf standing there caused me to become excited and overly joyed. Silvertongue. Finally. But the younger wolf was scared and I sighed. Moving forward I past by the younger wolf and came up next to Silver. My blue eyes tried to catch his and if they did they seemed to say something( we need to talk later).

I turned back around and approached Riopat. A smile formed on my lips and I spoke with gentleness and calm words

"No meed to be afraid young one. I am Rhoedias, mate to Silvertongue. Its okay you are young still and need some training. We only wish to build this pack stronger and bigger. "

My tail sweeps along her back attempting to calm her down before I moved to stand back beside my mate and pup.
