Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Her shoulder throbbed with each step she took, favouring her left side as she moved. Any wolf might wince, but as a Demon, Vera kept her expression both blank and neutral. She would not show weakness, no. Even in her blood lossed state, she refused to let anything diminish her pride. And yet she was not all there, no. Not only had the war exhausted her, but the wounds she had gained were none too kind. Her usually crystal clear mind held a heavy veil across it, her senses jumbled and unorganized. While she was always so keen on her senses and her wits, now was the exact opposite. In fact, she hadn't even made it back to Iromar. Instead, she was within trees she did not know, which lacked the swamp and the dank scent that hung about the land. But this barely registered in her mind as she continued forward.

Her bright sapphire gaze was filmed over as she went, her breathing laboured and uneven. As fate would have it, she was not near Iromar at all. She was in the nomans land, even if she did not know it, and the furthest thing from safe. If any Diveen wolf, or any rogue for that matter, happened upon her, she would not be in a state to defend herself. Granted, she would try as the Demon in her is bred to do, but she would be no match- even for a wolf half her size. But none of these thoughts filter through her mind, instead, she is searching for a place to rest, to lay her paws down and close her eyes. Yes, this sounds like a grand idea. And then there is a wolf right in front of her. She did not scent him, as her nostrils were stained with the crimson of the war, and her gaze just barely registered him.

Black. Crimson. Demon. It's the only connection her mind can make, and so, indeed, Vera is left to believe she is infact in Iromar. But, she isn't. This place is wrong, the trees are wrong, and the dry earth beneath her paws is wrong. She is confused, but does not have the energy to fight it. Instead, she drops first ungracefull to her haunches, and then on her stomach. Her jaw soon follows suit and rests against the top of her paws. Glazed over sapphire irises move up to the male in front of her. Andras? Haedes? A wolf she had yet to meet? Inugami? Who could it be, she did not know. But she may soon find out.
