Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

it's like you know where I'm going
you follow me home but
i never invite you inside

Any who had once knew Felony Rose as she was in the days of Old Moladion, they knew that she was invariably bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. Her dreams were untainted by the bitter reality that the world truly was and it showed in her pristine blue eyes. She nearly glowed with innocence and if they were to see her now, they would not know what to think.

She had matured further with it being four years since she had lived within these lands - there was a subtly sophisticated air about her and in her expression. She exuded tranquility in exchange for the high-spirited personality she once had. Her life had been humbled by the emotional hardships she had endured in the beginning of her young adult years, her virtuous mind shattered by the revelation of the life one particular lupine lived. She had nearly fought with him that late evening that she had found out about Eric's secret family, but instead turned tail and ran from him, wanting to be rid of the troubles he brought no matter her attraction to him. She was a fool for falling for a male that was four years older than she and knew better of it from the beginning - but it was inevitable. Once the connection had been forged, it could not simply be gotten rid of so easily.

The pale angel had made a life for herself in this new world that she had ventured to, yet the peace did not last as long as she had hoped when the appearance of Eric nearly sent her reeling. He was not supposed to search for her and especially not find her. He was a deceiver and could not be trusted any further in her mind - but she had managed to squeeze some bit of truth from him that evening and though she may not have liked her method of achieving such a thing, she felt that she could begin to trust him again. For the first time in a while, things were beginning to smooth out and they had committed themselves to each other wholly for the rest of their mortal lives. It were as if all of their troubles were put behind them after that singular, wonderfully dream-like moment.

If she had known that he would do as he had shortly thereafter, she would not have gone through with the ritual. Her blue-eyed paramour had left her - his scent fading with the passing days as she searched endlessly for him. And so she waited for what seemed like an eternity and yet there was no sign of him ever returning.

In her anger and sorrow, she saw it right to return to her birthplace, far from Illyria and even further from Moladion. Her journey had started months after Eric's disappearance and she was intent upon returning home until she picked up a scent so painfully familiar that she could not continue through without first investigating.

Dainty paws stepped into the first signs of Moladion with curiosity, was this truly the place she had been living in only four years prior? So much had changed.. though Eric had said that there was a disaster, she did not believe that it would reshape the entire landscape. Everything was so foreign, fresh, and yet inviting all the same. But she pushed her inquisitiveness for the new land aside as she focused on the delightful scent that brought a bittersweet feeling. She knew it was him far before she even entered the new Moladion, it could be no other, and his scent led her straight to a near reincarnation of the clearing they had once met at.

Even amongst the vast expanse of snow coating the land, she could spot him from a mile away, his height giving his presence away almost immediately. But his figured vanished as he dropped to the earth and without thinking her pace was quickened to a brisk jog, worry evident in her crystal pools of blue. She should not be worrying for him.. he left her and he never intended on returning. It was obvious and yet the truth was overlooked as her heart took the reins. She knew that he was still her's to call and to care for, could she not just forgive him and continue on?

She was in his presence in little time as her slender figure approached from behind him. Her eyes drank him in as she rounded his laying form, remembering all of the scars that portrayed his past and reliving the moments that they had been so close. Her body begged her to be as close to him as before. "Eric.." Her voice, now matured, was soft and laced with the slightest bit of apprehension. She wanted to embrace him, to feel his body against her own, to have him curl around her petite form protectively as they once had so many moons ago. But his betrayal could not go unaccounted for, her mind would not let her forget no matter how much her body and heart demanded it to.
