Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

The lonely brute wandered around, away from his pack that seemed to have died along with the alpha Tamlin. He knew Ambrosia, the beta, was currently defending the pack against a challenging wolf but was there really a point? Summer still did not feel like Blossom was him home. He had no one to call a friend and he missed his siblings terribly, especially little Rickon. The smoky brute just longed for a companion to have someone in his life that he could talk to. He did not feel like he had a home, despite being accepted into a pack, as all the wolves seemed to be silent and gone. Maybe Ambrosia would bring the pack back to life if she won the fight or maybe the challenger would create a new beginning for the dead pack.

Summer found himself wandering the forest until he came to the once beautiful field. There were still some flowers that had survived the fire and were still in bloom despite there already having been a frost in the area. The fall leaves were falling beautifully from the trees as he looked around at the scenery before he spotted a beautiful cream colored ess under one of the trees that was shedding its leaves. He trotted over to her, introducing himself as he sat down next to her, a smile plastered on his kissers with happiness to be talking to another lupine.

The ess returned his smile as she spoke her vocals ringing through his audettes, "Of course, be my guest. It is nice to meet you, Summer. I am Cora. Fall seemed to jump right out from around the corner; it seemed like just the other day summer was still here. Have your fall days been going well?” Summer was glad to find that she was friendly and was welcome to his company. His plume wagged as she spoke, her lyrics were like music to his ears with all the silence he had been around lately. “Nice to meet you Cora. Yes the seasons are changing quickly, winter will even soon be upon us!” He sighed before he answered her question, not sure what to say to her in terms of how his fall days had been, if he should be completely honest or put on an façade of happiness. In the end he decided to be more truthful with her, not wanting to start a friendship on lies, “I have had better days. I have been alone for a long time now and glad I ran into a friendly vixen like yourself.” He smiled at her, wanting to say more, compliment her on her beauty even, but knowing it would be too soon to say such a compliment. ”So do you belong to a pack around here? I smell no pack scent on you.” He was not sure if she was new or wanted to join a pack or if she preferred to live the life of a loner. It did not matter to Summer how she lived her life, he was just glad to have someone to talk to.
