Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I can’t understand. Is everyone around here like this? They take the new wolves and just try to get as much information from them as they can? Not a very smart thing I should say. What does my story have that she wants to hear it? It is not important, there is nothing to hide. Not anymore now. My intentions are not to simply take a pack for myself and try to lead. No! I want to be a true leader, to guide the wolves through all. I really don’t have any plans on taking over the world, I am not a villain. I just want to honor my father and follow his steps. It is all I want to do.

And Paldor? No… I moved on, he is just past. I wouldn’t be able to find him anyway. If I ever find him again, I will make him suffer, I will destroy every bit of his life! But that is not going to happen any soon. Besides, if I was a leader to my own pack, I wouldn’t just go chasing him. I would do it in my own ways, there is many other ways to destroy a wolf. But anyways! I told her how that happened, how my land was destroyed and she asked if I knew the wolf responsible for that. I told her, yes. I did. Not truly responsible for what happened, but for being a coward and running away. He could have at least told the alpha! Our leader! He wasn’t a bad wolf, he would listen to him. Perhaps moving the entire pack for a little time would take time and lot of work, but I am sure he would have, knowing that our pack was in danger. He would have moved us for one or two days. He could save the entire pack, but no! He chose to run away himself!

She spoke then and I tilted my head. He is here? She met him? She knows about him! Is it possible? I have come to the same lands he did? Was he still here? She won’t tell me. I chose to keep quiet as she spoke, assuring me that she would answer my questions. Oh, nice. At least. Hm… Perhaps it may be very bad. I just nodded and laid down close to a rock, waiting for them. I don’t really have any choice. Trying to get away from here wouldn’t be possible. I would take too long swimming to the shore before having to run away. They would see me for sure.

So I just waited…
