Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

It wasn’t so much luck that he was to run into Ceal this day. After having healed his Alphess Isola and the loner who both had a rather rough time and required multiple treatments he had to go out to where he knew a strong growing supply of Aloe plants were. Of course he had his own supply at his apothecary meaning he usually didn’t have to go out anymore, but with all the treatments he had harvested his plants until they had to recover. This meant he had to go elsewhere to find what he needed and Aplos Riverside had the best supply of plants he knew of. He recalled one of the last times he had come here he had met with Ceal and she had helped him gather the supply that he now had planted around his dogwood tree den.

Yin wasn’t too far away, she had said she would help him and he showed his helper what the plants looked like. He was certain she would not take more than needed, she was a strange girl, worrying about the plant eaters and if they had enough food. Thankfully Aloe didn’t seem to be anything ate that he was aware of. He wouldn’t see why anything would want to eat something with bitter gooy liquid in it anyway. But she was given a hare pelt to gather and then sent on her own way to explore and find the plants he needed.

He moved over the riverside his own fawn pelt bag in maw, moving over the land until he saw a white form over an area where he knew Aloe had grown. Really had Yin moved so fast that she got in front of him. It wouldn’t have honestly surprised him he was just trotting about after all not really looking for anyone or anything particular. ”Hey Yi-“ But he stopped dead as the scent wafted over him dropping his fawn pelt bag out of surprise. Ceal? That was Ceal right? There was no mistaking that scent of the mountains that clung to her pelt much like his own aroma of Diveen and various herbs clung to his own. Could he blame himself for getting the two girls mixed up though, no, not really but it was embarrassing all the same.

What would he do now? Turn and run for it? He hadn’t seen her since she put together that his imprint had been her sister Daenerys and had left the mountain while he was there training with Niviaq. That was how much he had though she didn’t want to be near him, didn’t want to be caught dead with him again she figured. He knew he had hurt her, and it was only about to get worse if she were to see Yin bounding up to him as she usually did not shy in the slightest stay close and a similar aroma to his own clinging to his coat because he had her stay with him. Hopefully she would stay far away, he didn’t want to ignore her…. After all it had been a while and she had come to their first place of meeting for a reason of that he was certain. He was frozen however awkward unsure what to do or say… Why was it that he always had to end up in these sort of messes? Why always him?
