Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Impatient? Let him be as such. Tesseract had always been a man of leisure and since when had a stranger merely loitering on the borders been of utmost importance? Of course, he might have been of more... urgency had he posed any sort of threat but no, he merely ambled about. Perched on one of the hills of Glorall, he watched idly as the unusual male lingered. Between his paws, he clutched his latest kill, a hare that he had taken the best from; all that remained now was the sinew and bone, though it surely made for a decent meal nonetheless. Still, he had grown rather... bored with it. It had just been a time killer, after all, and perhaps now after some moments to himself, he would tend to his visitor.

With Maradona away to hunt with the young wolves of Taviora and Cersei clinging to her mother, he had taken border patrol more seriously in the last few days. Their absence meant there was much more ground to cover and even now, he had to tend to the visitor rather than them. Perhaps it was not bad, though. He had wanted company, particularly with Rogue having been busy with her mate and Sinclair with his training. He'd always been quite hesitant towards males, particularly those young and fit like the stranger ahead of him. At least the stranger didn't appear as a threat... yet.

With a huff, he rose to his paws and clutched the hare's remains between his teeth. With a moment to stretch out his legs, he was soon off towards the other male, his gait long and smooth as his tail arched over his rump in dominance. Tesseract had never been ashamed to show his rank, and he kept up that same confidence even as he came to meet the male on the borders, coming to a halt some ten or so feet from his flank. Between clenched teeth, he released a gruff bark, dropping the carcass at his own paws before the violet of his own eyes moved to meet the red of the males. Unusual eyes, to match an unusual pelt - they were similar in their own ways, both white and marked with the same crimson and black. Though the stranger was shorter, it was clear enough that he outweighed Glorall's alpha - all things to be considered.

"I don't suppose you were looking for somebody in particular?"

His voice was cool, a crooked smile marring his features as he remained standing, always prepared in case of confrontation. It did not appear that the stranger had any ties to Glorall; he neither smelt like the pack land or of any wolf within it. Still, Tesseract had always been insatiably curious and besides... he needed to get rid of his scraps to someone.
