Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I had finished the first part of my task, to see to the needs of the expecting and nursing mothers. They had seemed alright, though I felt as though they would need more nourishment in the coming seasons, as all mothers do. In this case i must inform Tesseract of my findings, note the well-being of pups and mother's alike, as well as the rest of the pack. My siren's howl rings across the narrow straight in between my island and the mainland of Glorall. I liked this place.

Here i was protected from predators, the large whales that swallow wolves and sharks and dolphins alike. I have seen these monsters before, when I was younger. It seems like so long ago, but I can remember seeing these beasts playing with a seal. I feel cold remebering how much I had longed for one to snatch me from the beach of this island, knowing I don't want to go to that place again, not ever. This is the island that gave me purpose, the pack that let me live my dream, and I refuse to let it down when it needs me.

This is where I keep my stores and my den, it is also where I will train any wolf who wishes to know what I know about the healing arts. A tricky thing, healing, and a powerful feeling if a life is in your paws. Making a note echo across the expanse of Glorall, i make sure to call those who seek training as well, hoping Tess gets here first.
