Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

There's This Feeling When You See Me

What is that sound? The thought caused the child to awaken suddenly from his dreams, not that they were pleasant or bad but still it caused the season old child to awake with and angry growl and his wasn’t the only one. He laid curled again his red and black mother and her own form rumbled quite discontentedly. They had all just been put down for a nap after playing and now the boy was frustrated and tired. Curious as he was though he couldn’t help but rise from his mother’s side and make to the den’s entrance. He looked out over the lands, the rumble not far from his family’s den entrance the ruby and turquoise eyes were quick to spot the disturbance. He had never seen such a large beast before was that one of the monsters his mother always warned about?

Well if they were he was going to see it! A grin split the boy’s face, for if he could beat monsters then he could easily beat another wolf! The slate form exited the den and he started running to catch up. They were off in the distance he knew that much but he couldn’t quite see what was going to just yet. The rumble of the earth from the large charging beast had faded but as Los went towards them. It was chasing someone! A hooved monster! It was going to eat another wolf!! Los was torn between being intrigued and wanting to help. Like hell could he help though! That would be a pain for starts and he was as big as one of the monster’s hooves! Hah! He couldn’t do anything but watch! He was taught to stay down and hide when hunting anything, other wolves, bunnies, and birds, so he did he kept silent and crouched watching the monster chase the other boy around. How was he supposed to know he was a prince or summit?

He watched eyes going to the large horns of the beast throroughly intrigued by this whole situation. Would the predator be the prey? Or would this other boy be able to do something more to stop him. The grin was still on the slate boy’s maw tail giving a wave. Perhaps he felt a little inclined to help but at the same time his own damn self-preservation was worth a bit more at the moment.
