One whole year old! That meant a lot of things whether or not the rest of the pack knew it or not. For starters, it meant she was even faster and louder than ever before, a bristling torrent of energy that flew through Glorall on four legs. Second, it meant she would be getting to visit her father soon in Spirane. It also meant they had to take her seriously, or so she thought. See, she actually looked like a wolf now: she was no longer a puff of black and grey fur. Judas would have to take her seriously, too. He'd take her on more hunts and she'd learn so much more - she was sure of it! How could anybody say no? If they did, she'd chew on them until they caved in. Simple, really. To celebrate this coming of age, she had taken to parading about the pack land. She burrowed into the freshly thawed earth after grubs and hacked away at the fallen logs in search of mice. A celebratory dinner if there ever was one though she found herself abnormally alone. It seemed even her parents had things to do come the spring season, though she could not complain. She found herself enjoying the independence, in fact! Though she was covered in dirt and mashed snow, she exuded a confidence as she strolled down onto the open sands of Glorall. It was here that she got to finally expend her energy. For a moment, she simply flexed her paws in the granules, eyeing off the horizon as she backed up, wiggling her tail almost comically as she did so. With an internal countdown, she let out a short yip before bursting forward in a display of speed, reveling in her ability to actually run properly (a feat made more difficult previously with her stubby puppy legs.) The burn felt good as she charged down the shoreline, panting heavily as she began to slow. Somebody else was there. For a moment, she had thought it had been her mother and her tail had begun to wave sheepishly but at a closer inspection... male? That definitely ruled out Rogue. Still, she had grown curious now as she watched him simply stand there, toes tempting the water. Still beaten by her run, she ambled forward with a heaving sigh as she came up beside him, head tilted as her tongue lolled out. What was he doing? She quickly put two and two together, her eyes sliding between he and the waters before she shook her head. "It's still too cold to swim." She flashed him an all-knowing grin, suddenly plopping down into a sit as she once more let out a heaving sigh. Finally, her lungs were planning to work properly again. Judging by that, she needed to run longer and more often. After all, she had to excel, right? "Trust me, I tried further up the river. Way too cold. I think Spirane makes it all cold with their ice, you know?" He would surely enjoy her insight, for it was the only thing stopping him (she figured) from making the same freezing mistake she had.
