All these senses are overwhelming me, its like i'm being reborn again in her presence. She fills me with a strength that has me believing I can take on the whole world and win. It is a fantastic feeling. She is my personal euphoria, my drug. Each inhale of her scent pulls me farther and farther into her intoxicating grasp. She is my keeper, both in body and soul.
The smallest touch is enough to spark a reaction from both of us. Her tangerine gaze shoots up to me, a soft smile playing upon her lips. I feel an electricity ripple through my body, exciting every cell in my being. When I pull away, my body begins to protest, craving her touch again. I smile as her tail wags when I agree to show her around what was once my home.
When I look back at her, to see if she will follow, I am surprised when she comes up alongside me, her body leaning into my flank. I blink slightly, welcoming the contact that she has initiated with open arms. "Thank you." she says, burying her nose into my fur. I feel myself drifting away from this world by this touch, and I close my eyes for a second to just enjoy this touch. "Go, I will follow" She says from within my fur before gently pulling away and offering me an eager smile. I smile back, nodding and turning to begin our exploration.
I walk at a gentle pace, making sure there was always contact between us for safety purposes, although I wouldn't lie to say I desired it for other reasons as well. For the most part, we keep heading straight forward, until I come to an abrupt stop, gently using my tail to stop her as well. I look back at her, though the visibility to extremely low, to tell her to watch. I then gently pick up a stone before tossing it into the darkness. There was no sound for what seemed like hours before the feint sound of the stone hitting the ground far below echoed through the darkness. A giant chasm lay in front of us.
I turned and headed for the wall, keeping my tail upon her to show her which way to follow me if she could not see. When I hit the wall, I gently used my tail to put her on the other side of my flank, closest to the wall. There was a small walkway across the chasm, but I wanted to be safe and make sure she was far out of danger. I began to slowly move forward, careful in making sure she stayed on the right side of me and that I didn't move too far left and slip into the darkness.
When we had safely made it across, I turned and smiled at her to tell her it was okay and that we were almost at the location I intended to bring her. I moved once again close to the wall, before finding the opening in it that I was looking for. I slipped inside, though this opening was only wide enough for one at a time. I kept the tip of my tail on her chest I led her through the windy broken rocks, having to duck under some and squeeze through others. Eventually I slipped into what looked like a tiny cave or large den.
This place was like no other in the cave and few, if any, knew of its existence and where abouts. The ceiling had eroded and fallen away, allowing the sunlight from above ground to seep through. There was a giant pool of water here that had drained in from rain. It was beautiful and peaceful here, one of my favorite places to be. I gently trotted forward, leaping out onto a flat rock in the middle of the pool and resting my haunches. I looked at Everlyse with a smile and tail wag, watching to see her reaction of the place.
