Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The smell of water is refreshing as I get closer and closer to the borders. I don't know how this is going to go but I know that I can't stay away much longer. Viora needs me, whether she knows it or not. She may hate me, want me dead, but none of that matters because we're blood. She's the only one I have now. I'm determined to win back her trust but first I need to get back home and see the one wolf who always believed in me. Tesseract took me in when I was a yearling and took me to packs to see how alliances were made. It was very educational and I never forgot it. I just hope he can give me another chance.

I lope easily to the borders before stopping. I don't want to disrespect anyone so I guess I'd better wait here. I pace restlessly as I do, wondering who's going to come to meet me. Hopefully Tesseract but what if someone else comes? What if Viora comes to beat up on me some more? I scowl and stiffen automatically. Glancing around in paranoia, my ears flicker uncertainly, my tail low behind me. I know I can't go through life scared of my own sister but hey, she scratched my nose!

I sigh and take a seat finally. It's only going to hurt my paws to keep pacing. I think about howling but that just seems rude. I guess I can just wait.
