Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

She had darted as fast as her white paws could carry her from the site of the fallen elk, what on earth had pushed her to go there not even she knew. She could never hate other wolves in general, but trusting them was a different story; after all waking up to find herself completely and utterly alone, wasn't something she could easily forget. Overnight her family, her pack, had vanished without a trace leaving her to fend for herself. Soon she was far from the sight of the lake, breaking into the tree line.

Within the coverage of the tall trees she felt safe, so she slowed her pace to mild trot. Her sides heaving in order to get back the breath her sprint took from her. She was almost completely sure nobody had seen her flee. Almost. Just as her pulse began to slow to normal, her frost tipped ears flicked backwards at sound of a bark coming from behind her. In response she pivoted sharply heart racing once more; her different colored eyes landing upon a male, who was decorated in colors no different from her own, making his way towards her.

Her ears pinned themselves to her head with nervous anxiety, but none the less she seated herself in wait for the male to approach, only lowering her head slightly in readiness to protect the white fur of her neck. Her gaze found interest in the white under that blanketed the land. He was much larger than her, and one with glance at him it wasn't hard to tell that easily overpower her if he wanted. Still she felt a strange tug deep within her being towards him, and made her wonder if he felt it too. Sure, she had heard of imprints before, but she wasn't necessarily sure if this is how they felt. He stopped a few feet away, which she was thankful for, and introduced himself with a few wags of his tail. "N-n-n-nice to meet you Vincent, I-I-I'm Spirit." She looked up allowing her mismatched gaze to meet his fiery one. The majority of his coat seemed to be black, while white took over his undersides and paws. She seemed to choke on her words a bit, unsure of how to continue.
