It might seem like a cliche, but Calypso would do anything for the husky standing beside her. The fiery femme was doggedly loyal to the husky, ironically enough. Perhaps it was because of her affliction, or maybe it was in spite of it, but either way Caly found herself unable to find fault with Feist. There wasn't much to find fault with though, really, the husky was simply the victim of a despicable brute who had taken advantage of her again and again. Just the thought of Fang filled the vampire's heart with hatred and disgust, and if she ever saw him again she doubted that she would be able to control herself. Her teeth would find his throat before he could even try and smooth-talk his way out of the situation.

But Fang was not here, and he never would be again. Calypso wasn't going to leave Feist's side unless she died, and even then she'd follow her around as a ghost. Regardless of what Feist wanted, the ginger girl would be a protector til the end. Whether that was out of a friendship or something else remained to be seen.

Calypso flashed Feist a toothy grin as she responded to the teasing, her white-tipped tail giving a few wild wags. "Not going to try and go for six?" she said playfully, though both of them knew that it wouldn't happen. Not with Fang at least, but the thought of Feist finding another mate filled Calypso's heart with a rather unfamiliar feeling. Jealousy. Caly wasn't sure why the feeling came on so suddenly, but she found herself staring at the husky with her intense green eyes, something strange hidden behind that emerald gaze. It only lasted a second though and she was back to her usual grinning self, somewhat excited at the prospect of teaching Feist how to fish.

"You'd better be glad I am a master of hunting all things." Calypso snorted, walking down towards the riverbank. The river wasn't frozen quite yet, and even now the vampiric creature could see the flashes of fish in the water. "Come here and watch me." she said quietly, green eyes glancing at Feist before looking back down at the water. "You have to keep your shadow off of the water, or the fish will see you." she explained, angling herself so that her shadow fell on the bank instead of the water. "And when you see a fish swim by-" Calypso said, gaze fixed intently on the water. "You snap it up, real quick." Powerful jaws darted towards the water, skillfully grabbing a fish out of the river. Water droplets cascaded over Calypso's chest as she bit down on the fish, killing it and then depositing it on the bank.

The girl licked her lips and grinned. "Easy. Your turn."
