Hanging out with her Uncle Seamus was fun. He was always eager to show them new places to explore and anyways, Ankh quite liked getting out of the den. As the weeks began to go by she began to bloom, paws growing a bit too fast for her body and one ear always tends to fold down at the top in a cute manner. There was always someone to play with when she woke up filled with energy. Even if momma didn't want to play and daddy didn't want to play, well, there was always the other pups assuming her brothers did not want to either. Those pale eyes, a mix of blue and green but not quite either, look away from the trudging group to take in each wide tree or flower in their path, pausing a moment to examine a bug that she hadn't yet glimpsed. It is at this moment that Seamus scuttles back and she jolts, her body immediately falling to the ground and flattening even while wide eyes glance up. And up, and up, to see a bear. Well, she didn't know what it was really, but she knew it was Big and it was MAD.
Her tiny heart hammers in her chest and she jolts backwards, scattering, and no sooner does she pause than Daddy comes running, scooping up one pup and ushering them back. It is a relief to have him there, his scent comforting her, and she follows his instructions precisely before glancing back to see Seamus fall. "Uncle Seamus!" It is a gasp, not a shout, and she feels quite suddenly terrified and tears pool in her eyes as she takes off running in front of Fenrir to see mommy rushing out at them. Her mother's touch, brief, is soothing and she leaps straight for the den, crashing and rolling on the inside before standing up and peering out between her mother's alabaster legs in wonder as her Uncles tried to take down the beast.
