The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Seir
Chained to None - Caged by None - Kept in No Prison

He was pleased, so pleased with the flesh he was devouring. Soon he pulled his main prize from the chest, the tender flesh of the once beating heart. Blood covered his slightly white muzzle and poured down what was his white chest turning him crimson as his mostly black form. So engrossed with his kill he didn’t know there had been someone creeping up on him and watching him as he took his main prize. The heart quickly vanished down his throat a couple huge chucks and it was gone. He swallowed and let out a growl of pleasure as that itch in his stomach was settling. He was still hungry though and he would continue to devour until his stomach could take no more.

He moved to take another bite when he heard a snarl. The mostly black male whipped around stained red fangs bared and his own raspy sounding growl erupting from his throat. Like a projectile he was hit suddenly and like the wild monster he was he sent his fangs up madly snapping and snarling at the one who attacked him. Again! It was happening again he was being tackled he was being hurt! He snarled trying to kick out and vainly. He was already tired and apparently the other brute was growing and screaming at him as well. Seir stopped moving, fighting noting filling the air but the rasp of his breath and Dexter’s yelling. He never knew language well, his shadow of a father didn’t speak but a few words and his mother never spoke at all.

His yelling fell on, hypothetically deaf ears and already the large male’s body was rising and falling rasping as he had trouble catching his breath. He knew the male was angry though he could tell that, likely like the others who didn’t want him to eat. He was pinned to the floor but he was not going to go down without trying to kill the male on top of him first. He stopped struggling for a moment after Dexter had finished yelling, feral jade eyes staring into Dexter’s own before unblinkingly lurching forward to grab the muzzle in his own face.

There was no mercy behind the bite. He would take hold and shake it, tear it do whatever he had to do to remove the thick male from being over him. He was not in a good position and he was tired and his lungs burned causing him to already be short of breath. There wasn’t much time and he had to escape or at least fend off this angry wolf from his meal.
