Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

It is on long red limbs that Guardian is content to lead the way, towering black form pacing beside the white of Achilles as he moves to lead his Prince towards the ocean pack they have been charged with assessing, eyes of violet blue turned upon the ocean upon the horizon. It has been years since he has been to Glorall, the boy having ventured here only once within his youth and as such the spray of the sea and the scent of salt is a curious thing indeed, black ears pricked forward as white flecked face turns towards the steadily rising sun upon the horizon. There were many of his relatives here, the ocean forever home to those whom carried the blood of Heyel as well as many whom had served either Trenus or Diveen in their time and indeed the ever good-natured Guardian is sure enough that they will not be met with hostility as he lops lazily onward and towards the pack of this….Eden. That was the name Heyel has said he is sure. Eden. How had he lived so long with such a wolf in Diveen without ever learning his name? The blue-eyed beast merely shakes his head at this notion, form shifting suddenly to collide his shoulder with Achilles own in the beginnings of a game. Perhaps they were grown now, yet why should such a thing matter? Achilles is more the Cousin and Prince- he is friend, as close as a brother for the black and red male and it would seem he desires a game today as one paw lifts suddenly, swinging upward to collide with Achilles white shoulder before sending Guardian bounding away.

He had grown at last to rival his cousin for height, both males exceedingly tall and yet he would never hold quite so much bulk as the white male, his own muscle lighter, evenly spread- perhaps allowing a slightly greater speed and one he intends to use in this moment as he sprints away, lunging up and over a fallen log before breaking into a long striding lope in this game of ‘keep away’ leading his companion towards Glorall all the same and yet content to dance about it. He is young after all, within his very prime and such energy comes readily to the Angel, Guardian not quite yet having managed to do as Achilles did, to find a mate or imprint and give his own sire and dam the grandchildren they so desired. He wanted these things, he did, one day and yet the ever-good natured boy has never truly met a girl he desires beyond friendship, his lazy drawling words and crooked grin perhaps seeing them choose others when the winter came and yet the warrior was hardly given to mind. It is truly a rare day in which Guardian is given to mind anything.

Long limbs halt at last, allowing Achilles to catch him should the Angel Prince still be attempting such a thing, red paws halted upon the border line of the pack Eden had claimed as that handsome head turns to his companion now.

“Ya know Cuz, I never thought he ‘ad it in ‘im. Eden dat is, I always liked ‘im but he was always kinda odd, reckon I thought he’d just stay in dat forest pack with ya Brother Solar, day seemed pretty close ‘eh?”

His shoulders roll in a shrug of sorts as he sits, head lifted at least to release the notes of his call, asking for Eden’s presence now as Isola had instructed, long, thick black tail curling about his paws as he rests beside his cousin, the friend and guardian he has always been. It would be like a family reunion....even if Guardian had never truly understood how Eden was related, no one ever had.
