He didn't want to think of what it could mean, the feeling of being drawn to her. He remembers the tales spoken before, and it does put him a little on edge, because he isn't sure what he would do with that information, in that kind of situation. But mother had left them because of imprinting, had just gone off and the next thing he knew she was dead. It did not give him good feelings over the ordeal, nor did he quite understand what that meant on an emotional sense.
