Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Glorall has been pretty quiet besides all the wolves out to get their tasks done. I know I should probably be proving myself as well but the only task I think I could do, I haven't seen a wolf arrive yet to talk to. I was wanting something more of a speaker position, something a diplomat would get into since I'm not a fighter. I can hunt, as I proved with the pack hunt, but I'm not king of the hunt of anything. I think Alcmene deserves her position there. Solitaire is doing good as a healer. He certainly helped my gash heal. I think he'll do great. As for me? Well, I haven't found the task for me yet. But maybe there will be a turn of events and I'll find my niche in Glorall just yet. I know that my sister has decided to leave Glorall behind and while this saddens me, I do hope that she finds happiness wherever she goes. Viora and I haven't been able to see eye to eye ever since our mother Enigma got killed by a loner wolf after she attacked me. Mom jumped in to save me and I ran while Viora jumped in to help. Mom died and Viora has blamed me ever since for being a coward. In my defense, I was just a pup at the time and I had no fighting skills whatsoever but Viora would never hear of it. She's hated my guts ever since and nothing I did could change her mind.

When Solitaire returned to Glorall, I couldn't be happier. It's nice to have my brother back. Now I have someone who I can talk to and trust, someone to support me. When I hear the call from another wolf, my tail wags as I prick my ears and look toward the borders. A visitor! Well, it'd only be nice of me to go see how I can help, right? I lope off toward the sound, throwing my head up to bark a response to the wolf, letting her know I'm on my way so she doesn't have to wait long. As I get close, I curl my lips into a smile, my tail wagging faster as I stop before her and bow my head. "Hello! I'm Tristan. How can I help you?"
