Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

To Solitaire, it was pure luck to have come back just as Glorall had a change in leaders. He wasn't fond of Tessarect for his own reasons, and hadn't been looking forward to any kind of confrontation with the male. Solitaire would have just to get a place in his once and again home, yet he was glad not to have to deal with that. He liked Eden from what he knew of the male, but of course he would be concerned on how things would work as far as having a place in the ranks, if the fact that he hadn't been here before would affect that or not. Solitaire was serious in his want to help others, to heal them and tend to them when needed, though he was double concerned for his brother.

Which was why he had called Tristan to check on the male's wounds. All looked fine so far, but he'd have to give it a look after. There was a light laugh at the words of having looked okayed in the hunt, and Solitaire grinned. "Oh, you know, I do my best." He responded, amused at the joking around that they were doing. Plus, the idea of Tristan pulling around the log for him as he collected plants was funny. His brother seemed to think so as well. The comments, however, had Solitaire laughing. "Well, you never know, that might be a pretty valid observation." He pointed out with a grin.

The taste of herbs might not be good, but Solitaire didn't mind, since he knew it could help. He'd do it as often as needed to keep those of Glorall healthy, without blinking. At Tristan's words of feeling bad for him about the herbs taste, Solitaire stuck out his tongue at his brother. Fishing, though, sounded like a grand idea to him. It was safer -- or should be, in Solitaire's mind -- and he thought he needed something like that for now. Safe prey. Solitaire grinned. "Me too. Plus less healing." He added, following along to the water, moving slow and carefully, peering into the water. His ears twitched at the words. "Not yet.." He responded.
