Her weary eyes shifted and shimmered to look into his rainbow ones. They were being so friendly to her, it had to be a trap of some type. Maybe it was her lack of interactions showing through her like the light through a leaf. Her head darted, around, scanning the land for any signs of other wolves as her nose sniffed the air frantically for a scent. Nothing, unless a rabbit was a one animal army.
"I hope you do not say such things to all strangers. We may be friendly wolves, but if you meet the cannibals, they will not hesitate to rip out your throat" His threat was very clear, and she didn't like it.
"Is that a threat?" she asked him, the cold voice she had sounded cracked, unnatural to her, as if she was forcing it and doing a horrible time doing so. All signs she gave off showed this wasn't her. Her raised fur looked badly when raised the way it was. This she-wolf, she almost looked new to the fact she was speaking with males, for she'd only had her mother, long, long ago. Hopefully these boys could see all she needed was some warming up to thaw.
