The Grotto
Disaster has struck!

I haven't seen Solitaire in some time though I just figure he's out collecting herbs. He seems to like doing that a lot, though I still can't understand what's so fun about collecting plants. I am proud of my brother for moving up in the pack. He's doing quite well for himself in Glorall. What I didn't expect was to find my brother dashing toward me from the borders like his tail is on fire. I even glanced over his shoulder to make sure that wasn't the case. When I came up empty, I tilted my head in puzzlement. He was calling out for me in a panic and I hurried to him, afraid that he could be hurt even if I can't see it. When he gets to me, he's shaking and his fur is a mess. My ears flatten to my skull in displeasure to see him like this. As he starts spouting out words, I can only really hear half of what he's saying, only picking up on key words and though I try to throw questions in, Solitaire is on too much of a rampage to stop. "Cobryn? So he knows him? He ATE him? Surely you misheard him...Perhaps he was trying to say he....bait him or something? Okay, I don't know but SURELY he didn't actually eat...normal wolves don't eat other wolves...he what? And he's where? Okay but what...." And my words are cut off as Solitaire turns tail and takes off back toward the borders from whence he came. I finish the rest in a low mumble, my head lowered in defeat. "...exactly are we going to do about it?" I already know that I'm going to follow him because I can't just let Solitaire go find this wolf alone. He must be dangerous! To have killed my father....I wish we could have met him. I take off but Solitaire has a head start on me. I can only just keep him in sight though he's far ahead. I sigh and push for more, calling out to him but it's like calling out to a brick wall. But then there's another wolf ahead, a large brindle wolf and my body trembles in discomfort at the notion of meeting this wolf. I slow down, ready to pull up beside Solitaire and talk. After all, he'll need me as a peace keeper, right? But no, Solitaire isn't stopping. Wait, what? What's he doing?! MY brother leaps at the wolf snapping and of course the other wolf turns to retaliate, snapping his nasty wolf eating jaws at MY BROTHER. Something snaps inside and something like a roar escapes my throat as I lunge forward. "YOU LEAVE HIM ALONE." I very well scream as I go to ram the male's rib cage from the other side to throw him off balance, my jaws snapping at his shoulder or neck, whatever I can reach. If I latch on, I'll shake my head viciously, wanting to draw blood. Just the thought of him hurting my brother...it's enough to make anyone lose their temper a little, right?
