Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She had not cared very much for these two pups, not like she had done so for her first two litters. They were her first boys and yet the maternal connection to them was faint. She raised them up until they were strong and well-fed, but now winter was upon her heels once again and her urges were more uncontrollable now than any other time. The male that had produced Oblivion and Ansel was nowhere to be seen, a one night stand, and it was enjoyable for the time that he had stayed. But now she must find someplace to leave her children, for she does not wish to mother them any longer.

Her mind is damaged from her time away from Moladion; distress causing a breakdown of her sanity and as such her judgement and emotions are frayed. Enderly’s disposal of her was like a knife in her back and yet she had brushed it off as easily as if he had never meant anything. How could she feel two completely different things all at once? Her attentions had been taken from that matter with the upbringing of her current whelps and yet now they must go. She did not worry that she would be alone this winter, for Naamah was never truly alone, and yet there was this unease settling into the back of her mind.

She moves at a fast-paced walk with all of the grace that she has always carried within her figure. Darkened ears flick back toward the following pups every now and then to ensure that they are keeping in line. She finds the stale scent of Nathaniel somewhere between the grotto and the pack of Glorall, and begins to follow it in hopes of finding where he is hiding. The distance is not a terribly long one and yet for the defected pup it may be troublesome. She is unsure if his breathing is affected by his deformity but they must carry onward if they were to make it before nightfall.

By the early evening the trio is approaching the rushing waters of the river pack and the demoness stops before the marked borders. ”Listen children...” she begins as she turns to look down upon them. ”Your father is waiting for you in there. He wishes to meet you while I go out for a hunt.” her face shows no sign of the betrayal that lies beneath as she speaks so sweetly to them. With an assured nod that they will remain with their father while she is away, she leans down to kiss them upon the forehead one final time before nudging them into the territory.

She does not linger long before swiftly retreating back into the wild lands of Moladion, knowing that at least someone, if not Nathaniel, will find them within their pack.
