I can smell the fear coming off of her in waves, my nostrils twitching as hunger flashes in my ice blue eyes. I love it when they openly show their fear but I love it more when they put up a fight, make it worth it. And it's easy to see this girl is too terrified to move, let alone fight. She can't tell where I am which is what I was going for but she also doesn't seem willing to talk. Oh no, that won't do at all. A bird takes off and she jumps after I speak, my lips twitching with humor. Such a jumpy thing. Guess rabbit was a good name for her. She looks toward the cavern and moves away which is enough to make my lips crinkle with glee since I'm in the opposite direction of the cavern. Of course she would think her wordst nightmares are in that darkness but I can find the darkness anywhere. I've spent my whole life cultivating it. The moon is coming up and my body trembles with anticipation of the hunt because every night is my feast. I close my eyes; I bet I can hear her racing heart from here. When she closes her eyes I move out of cover, keeping my steps light and silent as the wind. I move around her, inhaling her sweet perfume. She smells lovely. It's been a long time since I've smelled anyone so beautiful. I stop by her ear. "You should calm yourself, little rabbit. Your heart can only take so much pounding."
