Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Solitaire did not want to think too much on the brindled wolf and what had happened. The entire thing was terrible, but he certainly did not blame Tristan for it one bit. In fact, Solitaire blamed himself more than anything. If he hadn't attacked that wolf in the first place, Tristan wouldn't have done it either. Still, Solitaire wasn't worried about Tristan being anything other thatn Tristan; a beloved brother. For the most part, Solitaire just thought that Tristan needed space to deal with what had happened, and he wanted to give his brother that, while still being around in case Tristan wanted to talk to him about, well, anything. It was kind of weird to not have Tristan around like it had been in the weeks before the issue with the brindled wolf.

Eventually he spots Tristan ahead and keeps going, increasing his pace a bit, until he was close. He saw the wag of Tristan's tail and the smile, and Solitaire did not hesitate at all to step up and bump his nose fondly at the side of his brother's neck. Solitaire stepped back after that and smiled at Tristan, tail moving about behind him as Tristan asked what he'd been up to. It seemed like there was so much to say, though maybe it wasn't that much when it came down to it. More like it was kind of a big deal in Solitaire's life; a changing tide for him. Solitaire kept thinking it was a good thing when it was all considered, because how else would he have ever had offspring of his own? That had never really occurred to him until all of this.

And now to see what Tristan thought of the whole ordeal. Solitaire was slightly nervous to tell it, though. "I think.. well I'm pretty sure I'm going to have puppies next Spring." His eyes were wide and he looked excited about it, even if he still felt that small unease about the act itself. He could get over that.. he had to. It would be for the best on all sides. "It's for a family alliance thing that Covet set up, and I know that's a little weird, but Ambrosia seems really nice, and I'd do near about anything for family." A pause, a shrug of shoulders, but still he was bright-eyed. "Anyway, it's puppies! I might not have ever done it if not for this, so.. but you'll be an uncle! And I really want you to meet Ambrosia and everything, too." He was babbling, and maybe there would have been a chance in another way, he wasn't omnipotent or anything, but.. chances were still very slim on that.
