The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

While I wait on Aithne's answer to my next biggest idea, I've decided to get out and about. It's been a while since I've been out of the pack lands so maybe I need to explore a little. I think the last time I was out and about, I ran into my mom of all wolves and she tried to sucker me into thinking she was sorry for abandoning me. Luckily Andras showed up then before I made a fool out of myself and actually started believing her. The weird thing is, now my family has found me in Iromar. Lucem has asked to make Iromar his home though I can't see what he sees in the swamp lands that he might like. Do I want a brother of mine in my home? I'm not sure. It's not that I don't like him or anything. I just don't...know how I feel about him.

Meanwhile I make my way to the grotto. The darkness reminds me more of Iromar than anywhere else. Of course it would seem I'm not the only one who'd decided to come here today. I can hear voices up ahead the minute I step in and I sniff, making my steps silent as I move toward the sounds. I recognize one voice already, Riot. When I see him, I nod my head in greeting and offer a small smile. It's good to see him out and about since we took down the alligator together. He's quite the hunter, I have to say. But he seems otherwise preoccupied so I turn my attention back to the other wolves. Someone's tallking about food but I recognize Paldor too so I dip my head to him. Seems I'm not the only Iromar wolf who decided to come to the grotto today.
