Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Her clear, gold sparked eyes watched him closely, even as they laughed, she whimpered, and he stood concerned. As playful and fun-loving as she was, so was not so lost in her make-believe that she was intelligent enough to see what was happening around her. Though there were times she chose to be naive. His gentle play, his easy smile, and the concern he showed when she whimpered had not been entirely lost on the young woman. Touched, it warmed her heart to see so many traits of her brothers colliding into one and embodied by the random stranger who had come to play with her.

His words made her bare her fangs in play rage. ”’Get me’? Permission?” She growled. ”I do not need permission!” Her grin was nothing but mischievous. The pirate rouge that shined through the Edrick’s face was met by the tricksy minx. With building excitement, she watched him come down to the ground and prepare to jump. She braced herself for impact and rolled when he collided with her. Puppish glee continued to spill from her lips as she made the sound that would have been ferocious if they had been legitimate. She tumbled with him, batting at his face and shoulders with her paws, her jaws agape to make sure she did not bite him as she tossed her head back and forth in their fight. Snickering, she used her smaller stature to roll herself from out of Edrick, bounce away, spin, and ready herself from another leap at him.

Tithe’s paws pounded into the dirt, his claws creating deep gouges wherever they landed. He could smell her. A scent from his past to save his future. His nose had picked up the scent just on the edge of the land and he had taken off running, excited to see his friend from his past, anything that could keep him grounded in his life.

He saw them in the clearing they had claimed as their playground and he was blinded by his guarded happiness at seeing his friend again. Their playful postures, the wags of their tails, the insincere growls and snarls that filled the air around them were lost on him. All he saw was a male attacking his best, and now only, friend. In the second Taika rolled away from Edrick, Tithe rushed in, his steel grey fur bristling and his teeth battle drawn. In the rush, he knocked Taika off to the side, causing her to lose her balance in surprise and be unable to jump back into the fray. The knight put himself squarely between the two of them, eyes alight with his protective instinct. The only sound that came from him was a low warning growl, his tail high as he stood stiff legged against the attacker.
