Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

We laughed at fate and mourned her;

She had been betrayed before. Long ago within her own family she was detested and hated all by superstition. Within her pack she did not feel the typical connection a pack wolf should feel when they were among their kind. There was no affection nor care. There was only detest and hate. At such a young and tender age she did not understand it all. It wasn’t until after they chased her out did she come to the full realization that she could not trust others and perhaps she would never understand what it would be like to be connected to others. So, she allowed herself to turn into the Monster they believed she would always become. Here in Moladion she did not truly feel accepted here. There were wolves that detested those that were…different, and with her soul chained to the most feared wolf in the lands, she felt it was her mission to provide a sanctuary. This sanctuary would not just be for wolves that were misunderstood and had different lifestyles, this would be a place for any kind of wolf to live and feel accepted. She had the pack for the part of the summer and the entire Fall and should Fate be kind to her, perhaps even through Winter and for the years to come. If there was any wolf that understood the life of a loner or felt the harsh atrocity of betrayal then Tick Tock was the perfect wolf to stumble across.

Between her jaws was a nice plump weasel that she had managed to catch. With Winter now here she would be feeding not just for her small pack, but for herself as well. Winter had allowed her imprint to feel the need to be close to her and so come Spring there would be new life. The ebony and dark grey she-wolf roamed the woodlands as she headed for her home. Earlier that day she had been searching for loners that may have some sort of inclination to join or at least visit a pack, but with less prey being seen the population of wolves within the woodlands dwindled. Silently she walked through the pine needles her paws barely leaving any marks. Dark radars twitched back and forth and her movement would cease when she noticed another wolf straight ahead. Dark sapphire eyes roamed over the frame of the brute taking note that he was a lean specimen that was in need of something more plentiful to eat. With a muffled bark she would give him the kindness of alerting him of her presence. Unlike other Alphas she did not carry herself in an egotistical manner outside or inside her territory. It was obvious within her stride that she was a dominant creature, but she carried herself in an unthreatening manner.

When she got a bit closer to the young male she would lower her ebony skull and place the dead plump weasel between the two. It was no surprise at all that she was a wolf that had endured some brutal fights in the past. Her left side of her face carried old scars that she had received from her own Father while the right side of her face showed the most recent spar she had with a mountain lion when she protected the Angel King. Dark sapphire eyes seemed quite haunting as she allowed the cold northern winds to be the only noise between them, the cold winds whispering that snow would be coming soon. Her dark ebony and grey pelt seemed much fuller now that her winter coat had come and she did not appear to be pregnant at all. Her bloodstained jaws would part for a moment as her cool soft lyrics poured out gently as she began the conversation.

“You seem lost and hungry, take the weasel.”

There was no trick and there was no ploy behind her offer. She was in a pack and she could get as much food as she needed. He was a loner and he looked like a creature that could use some sort of help – be it from the fresh kill or perhaps the company he had right now.
