Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

At one years old, Kairos was beginning to fill out. Gone were the oversized puppy paws and rolls of extra skin behind her ears, and in their place a lanky goddess could be found. She walked on thickset legs speckled with silver, and a silken banner of the purest alabaster could be seen flying above her back. Her muscles had begun to tone and coil beneath her pelt, so that any could see the strength she carried. However, she did not pay for that power with beauty, for her slender waist and neat, pert features lent her a girlish charm that belied her rather narcissistic and somewhat macabre nature.

The shadows of Enocra played upon her uniquely patterned pelt, bringing out her red mask and diamond as well as the thick swathe of black that covered her shoulders, head and neck. She drank up the weak sunlight as it filtered through the pine needles, feeling the warmth spread through her bones as she went and reveling in her new strength and femininity. She was perfection personified, a creature made up from the purification of years of alpha blood, as well as the far from unique angel strain. However, inside her veins something had transpired which was totally new and undeniably powerful, an incomparable mixture of godliness that surpassed even Tobias' own. Kairos was a new kind of different, the only Voidborn female to roam Moladion and the first of what would hopefully be a line of puritans chalked up through the volcanic concoction of too-omnipotent blood.

She felt her own presence wherever she went, strong and thick as the scent of lust in the winter air, and it reminded her of who she really was. A goddess, transcended, far more than the earthly creatures around her and yet devoid of her powers. Why? She couldn't quite remember, except that it had been her choice to relinquish such gifts in exchange for something better. A life among her creations, perhaps? This she didn't know, but her lack of wisdom bothered her little.

In fact, the chief bother in the youngster's life at present was boredom. Her family seemed to have dispersed, and she had not seen hide nor hair of her brothers in ages. It did not worry so much as disgruntle her that they weren't around to alleviate her tedium, and others had been scarce of late. She supposed they were busy, doing what others do when the first snows come, but that didn't explain the lack of playmates in the free-lands. It was as if, come birthing period, every unhindered female joined a pack hoping to guarantee their safety during such a critical time. Kairos growled her disdain aloud. Breeding was not for the common folk. Only the pure were allowed to procreate. And yet they spurted forth young like flies did disease. When she was older, she would have to put an end to such practices. However, at the moment, the multi-hued young lady with the thrilling eyes did not care if she happened upon someone unclouded or not, she sought only a distraction from the monotony the dull season had brought.
